Our Story
Reel Warrior Sport Fishing is a life long dream of mine. I grew up in Erie Pennsylvania fishing since I could walk. I joined the Army at age 18 and spent 22 1/2 years on active duty traveling the world. I retired from the US Army on 1 May 2020 to pursue my dream. I was stationed in the Cleveland area in January 2015 assigned to Recruiting Command as a Guidance Counselor. I have spent the last 8 1/2 years fishing the western basin for walleye learning from some of the best fishermen on Lake Erie. I have fished the LEWT and won Biggest Overall Walleye in Port Clinton in 2019, I fished the WMT in Cleveland and placed 4th overall and also took home the prize for Biggest Overall Walleye. In 2021 I returned to fish the LEWT Series with a 1st, 3rd, and 5th place finish in the and almost took home the Team Of The Year Award .
I am a Captain for Walleyes for Wounded Heroes and we hold 2 events per year taking Purple Heart recipients, Police Officers, and First Responders on healing fishing trips.
